Rocket Ship Couriers Ltd. is a Vancouver-area based technology startup that connects local couriers and messengers with delivery work. Our mission is to modernize the same-day messenger industry and make hailing a courier as easy as hailing a rideshare driver.
Our customer portal (Web/iOS/Android) will allow consumers and businesses to create, track, and manage local shipments with ease. Our dispatch engine and driver app will enable quick and efficient delegation of work to our subcontracted owner-operators. By leveraging the Google Cloud Platform and our custom Vehicle Routing engine we will enable couriers to spend more time on the road and less time planning their routes.
RocketShip’s goal is to improve quality of work and overall pay for owner-operators while setting the standard for customer service and real-time visibility in the same day courier industry. We aim to be cost competitive with the industry incumbents while leveraging our lean operating plan to drive profitability.
Our integrated and proprietary vendor ecosystem is planned with small, medium, and large businesses in mind. Our primary objective is to support local retailers and vendors looking to compete in the e-commerce space by offering same day delivery powered by RocketShip.
